Movie Review~ Oz the Great and Powerful

                                                                            

                                                                            

Hello!! Today I am going to do a review on a movie...this one to be exact-

                                                                         

Note- this may spoil some parts!! This was a pretty good movie, but something that confused me was that there were 3 witches not 4- 2 good, 1 bad(until the bad one poisons one to be bad) The first part of the movie is black and white until Oz lands in Oz, creating the illusion that it's an old movie. There were also some very scary parts, like when one of the evil flying baboons comes face to face with you. Everyone in the theater jumped! At the end, Glinda and the little china girl let Oscar/Oz fool the people with his magician tricks- what?? I mean, don't they know that someone will find out(like Dorthy:D)????? One good thing was that the imagery was very good- a lot was made on the computer.

Stars- 4/5 stars
Age Level- 7+
Negative- Story line was a little confusing, only 3 witches, bad ending
Positive- Great imagery, great movie.
