Ravenstone Academy~ Jessie

Jessie: We were finally at the academy. Even though I had been here a million times before because of my older sisters, I still was a little intimidated. As we drove through the gates, we could see the academy a little far of, with wide grassy areas in front. Halfway through the driveway, I had to hand Sampson over to the raven keeper. I got out of the car and opened the big oak doors. "Bring it on." I whispered to myself. A lot of other girls were already in the halls chatting and laughing including my sisters who came early to help. "Hey Jess," My sister Avery said as she sidled up to me. "I think you'll like this girl! I showed her around before you came. Hey Theodora! Meet my sister!" A girl with long tangled black hair immediately came over. Avery left. We were staring at each other for what seemed hours, when I finally said, " Hi, I'm Jessie! My raven's name is Sampson, what's yours?" "Well, ummm, I never actually trained ravens before." The girl mumbled. "So you don't have a raven? That's okay, I'm sure they have extra ones you can borrow. But, if you've never trained ravens before, how can you be enrolled here?" "I can understand and talk to birds." She said shuffling her feet.
