First off- please answer the polls at the bottom of my blog! I will be glad for any feedback!!

I wrote a lot over Easter break, so I will have to catch up!



Theodora: This "Jessie" was okay I guess- but I had more important things on my mind. My mind was a whirlwind of questions as we were waiting in the hall. Would the girls be nice? Would I be fine without a raven of my own? But wait- my thought tornado stopped. How did I GET here??? It felt like I flew... did ravens carry me? Then a voice interrupted my thoughts. "Okay! File in! Time to eat!" A stern-looking lady wearing a crisp suit said standing in front of the door to the lunch hall. The hall was of majestic beauty, with a great chandelier up above and marble tables. I sat down at an empty table, but Jessie, Avery, and what I assumed were the rest of her sisters came over. "Hey Theo," Jessie said brushing her honey-blonde hair out of her face. "mind if we sit??" I shook my head.  She hadn't believed me at first when I told her I could talk to birds. But now it looks like she's fine with it. As lunch was served(lamb chop sandwiches with celery sticks.  There's not many  meat varieties, since bird is kind of an insult here), "I asked Avery, "Why are there only girl teachers? What about those two men this morning?" I glanced at the teacher table while I said this. Avery laughed. "Oh, Mr. Pip and Mr. Vooms are teachers at the BOY'S Raven Trainer Academy that is a few miles away, but Mr. Pip owns this one too. And that lady wearing the suit, Ms. Biscuitt, is the headmaster.
